The time has come to halt the disappearance of the traditional English hedgerow, habitat to plants (600+ species), birds (at least 65 species), mammals (21 at last count) and insects (a buzzing 1,500+). One kilometre of hedgerow requires 60 trees and 5,000 hedging plants including Hawthorne, Guilder Rose, Field Maple and Hazelnut, with each 10 metres costing £30 to plant. Not only will your investment grow lustily, but it will also enhance our environment and delight generations to follow.
